Well-Tempered Clavier – Best Recording of 2018 awarded by The Union of Greek Theatre and Music Critics
Alexandra Papastefanou has just been awarded the ‘Best Recording of 2018’ for her ‘Bach: Well-Tempered Clavier’ FHR recording [FHR65]. The prize was awarded by the ‘The Union of Greek Theatre and Music Critics’ at a ceremony on 18 February 2018. Here’s a photo of Alexandra accepting her prize. Congratulations to Alexandra.
“for the virtuoso and expressively impeccable approach of a monument of the world’s pianistic literature, crowning a distinguished, consistent, long-lasting personal artistic journey.”
FHR are delighted to announce that we will be recording all of Haydn’s 52 surviving piano sonatas with the phenomenal pianist ROMAN RABINOVICH. There will be 5 vols in total, each containing two CDs.
FHR are extremely excited to announce a new joint venture with the ARCHIVE OF RECORDED SOUND (ARS). More details to follow but we will be releasing a number of brilliant unreleased early stereo recordings (mainly EMI). We are thrilled to be able to work with ASR, publishing some really interesting and rare historical recordings.
